Kelsea had her nine month check up today and was declared to be very happy and healthy. The eye and ear infections have cleared completely. She weighed 17 pounds,3 ounces and is supposedly 27 inches tall - I think the nurse might have measured short on account of a lot of wiggling on Kelsea's part. That puts her in the 49th percentile for weight for length, and the 23rd percentile for length for age. It looks like she will cut four top teeth very soon, one has already come through, and you can see the others right under the skin. This means more meals - and less mush - yea! They tested her hemoglobin today, which meant a tiny blood draw. She didn't shed a tear or complain. She seemed most upset about the bandaid on her finger - it was bright purple and green - so she promptly removed and ate it.
